Michael Waters is a UK-based songwriter whose songs are proving globally popular. The first two, released in 2026 — A Baby Of My Own and The Boy Who Really Loved You — have both done fabulously well in the World Indie Music Charts. The two releasing in June and July are anticipated to be massive chart successes.
Michael records in both the UK and the USA, often alongside world-class musicians.
Apart from writing the lyrics and music to great songs, his other distinction is a surprisingly small interest in personal fame. His motto says it plainly: “Songs come first” — before his own fame, and before the fame of those performing them.
